The Process

How Brightroots Works

No fixed studio. No complicated registration. Just tell us where you are — we'll take it from there.

For Families

1

Enquire About Classes

Leave your name, email, and zip code on our website. Tell us your child's age range and what kind of program you're looking for.

2

We Build Demand

We track interest by zip code. When enough families in a neighborhood sign up, we prioritize finding a partner location there.

3

We Find a Partner Near You

We reach out to Parks & Recreation departments, schools, or daycares in your area to host our program — at no cost to the facility.

4

You Get Notified

We email you with class details and a direct link to register through the partner facility (Parks & Rec website, school portal, etc.).

5

Classes Begin!

Your child joins a small group class with a certified Brightroots instructor — right in your community.

For Facilities

1

Submit a Partner Inquiry

Fill out our short inquiry form on the For Organizations page. Tell us about your facility, the children you serve, and your timing.

2

Discovery Call

We schedule a 20-minute call to understand your needs, age groups, class size, and scheduling preferences.

3

Custom Program Design

We tailor a program to your facility — class frequency, group size, age curriculum, and schedule.

4

We Handle the Rest

Instructors, curriculum, equipment, communication — all provided by Brightroots. You provide the space.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

When will classes start in my area? +
We're actively launching across the Bay Area in 2025. Sign up with your zip code and we'll notify you the moment a class opens near you. The more people who sign up from a given zip code, the faster we prioritize that area.
How do I register once classes are available? +
Registration happens through the partner facility — for example, your local Parks & Rec department's website or your child's school portal. We'll send you the direct link and instructions when classes open near you.
What if there's no partner near me yet? +
Your enquiry actively helps! We use zip code data to prioritize which neighborhoods to target first. The more people from a given area, the faster we work to bring Brightroots there.
How much do classes cost? +
Pricing is set by each partner facility and varies. Parks & Rec programs are typically subsidized at $8–$15/class. School and daycare programs may be included in existing program fees. We work with every partner to keep pricing accessible.
What qualifications do your teachers have? +
Every Brightroots instructor holds a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification plus specialized children's yoga training. All instructors are CPR/first-aid certified and have passed a full background check.
Do you offer private or in-home classes? +
Our current focus is group programs through community partners. We don't offer private in-home sessions at this time, but please reach out via our contact page — we're happy to discuss your specific situation.
